Yankees’ Offense is Sputtering

The Yankees’ offense is sputtering, and they need to find a way to get it going. Even on Friday, when they won, they only scored three runs. On Saturday, the Yankees scored two runs, and they ended up losing by a run. Aaron Judge and Austin Wells hit a home run on Saturday, but that was the only offense that they could get going. Ryan Yarbough was on the mound, and he pitched four innings, giving up a hit and a run. 

Overall, the Yankees are averaging 5.52 runs while their pitching is giving up 3.88 runs per game. The offense is ranked 2nd while their pitching staff is ranked 11th. Aaron Judge has hit 11 home runs and driven in 33 RBIs. Getting the start for the Yankees will be Will Warren, who sits with a 1-1 record and an ERA of 5.63. Against the Baltimore Orioles in his last start, he went 3.1 innings, giving up six hits and four runs. 

Can Rays Win this Series?

The Rays haven’t been great this season, but they know a win here is going to mean a series win for them. Compare that to Bradley, who was really good in his last start, and he’s going to really step up in a major way here. This game might only be a 4-2 or 4-3, but the Rays will come out ahead.
